Lovely villa and we had a wonderful time - I would recommend this villa and a lovely place to be, very tranquil and with a lot to do. However reality does not match the photos - there are many tiles coming up in the pool, there is algae in the pool grout and the water makes your eyes sore - it is clear that the maintenance is done on the cheap. The jacuzzi does not work and there were a couple of niggles we raised (that were resolved quickly). Having stayed in another villa in Kalkan previously I think there is a general building quality issue in the area. That all said, I would probably stay at this villa again (maybe with some guarantees about the state of the pool), and I would definitely use Kalkan Escapes again - Altan is fantastic and incredibly helpful.

Stayed here as a family of 7 - all adults. We were met on arrival by owners father who went through everything we needed to know. The owner had also done a small shop for us which after a 4 hour flight from UK and transfer was very much welcomed. The 4 bedrooms each with its own ensuite were beautifully presented, clean and very comfortable. The facilities within the villa were great, the pool was well used by us all. The location is perfect if you want peace and quiet, with supermarkets, bars and restaurants in Hisoranu a steady 10 to 15 minute walk away. Overall a fantastic week had by all in a very lovely villa

Villa Guney is a great villa in a great location. Very well appointed and plenty of indoor and outdoor space for 10 people and private sea access is a bonus. Loads for teenagers to do with the pool, table tennis and pool table and you can arrange long term kayak and paddle board hire to be delivered. Also, lots of relaxing space for the less active. It's close enough to the old town to get a £6 cab in or out, or you can walk if you're energetic and it's not too hot but some of the hills are very steep. It's also far enough away, that it is very peaceful. We hired a 9-seat van which worked out well for us but you have to be a confident driver to venture into the narrower bits of the old town and try and park at busier times. If you don't want to, you don't have to leave the villa as food deliveries and takeaways can be easily arranged. That said, you would be foolish to miss out on the fantastic dining options in Kalkan. There are some genuinely very good quality places to eat there, even when you take away the picturesque locations that often make holiday restaurants seem better than they are. Also, a bit of livelier nightlife for the younger members of the party. If you haven't been before, it is much more upmarket than some of the bigger all-inclusive type resorts favoured by a lot of Brits abroad. Even though it is expanding a bit, it still feels like a nice seaside town and doesn't feel over-developed. Overall, I would say that this villa compares very favourably to others in a similar price bracket that we have stayed in around the mediterranean and we would definitely visit again. The icing on the cake is that you practically get a concierge service from Altan at Kalkan Escapes. Nothing is too much trouble and he is very knowledgeable and helpful for arranging restaurant bookings, transfers, car hire, trips and also out-of-hours doctors in our case.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Sandee. The villa is beautiful, very comfortable and had everything we needed. It’s not really within walking distance of the harbour and restaurants as it’s on a steep hill, but taxis are inexpensive and plentiful, so getting around was very easy. A special mention to Altan, who provided excellent service throughout. He was incredibly efficient and helpful. We would definitely look to book through him again.

Great Villa with an amazing view. Nicely appointed with most everything you could need. Altan, the Villa Manager, was a great help during our visit as well. Would definitely recommend.

A fabulous property. Enjoyed throughly by our family of four. Views were excellent, villa was fully equipped to meet all our needs, pool was cleaned daily and the villa is situated close to all amenities. Within walking distance to the old town, fabulous restaurants and supermarkets. We were taken care of very well by our Kalkan escapes representative - thank you. Minor improvements would include complimentary tea and coffee on arrival and extra availability of toilet rolls, dustbin bags etc. Saying this we wouldn't hesitate to book again or to fully recommend the villa.

The property is described perfectly and accurately. The location is very quiet, and the owner is very attentive should you have any questions or need information. 10/10 Perfect vacation!

The bones of the villa are nice, it is spacious and the AC kept it cool. The pool is lovely and the view from the upper floors is good.. The service from Kalkan Escapes was excellent, very responsive and couldn’t be more helpful both before and during our stay. Unfortunately, we were more than a little disappointed in the consideration of guests from the Villa owners. We have stayed in many villas over the years ( 2 previous in Kalkan) so we were a little disappointed to find no welcome gift. More importantly however there were absolutely no essentials, cloths/products for washing up, clothes washing, bin liners, shower gel, oil, salt, spices. The bins in the bathrooms and toilet brushes were rusty. The ‘jacuzzi’ on the roof was cracked and leaked until it was fixed mid week. There was initially no water fountain and no table tennis table as was advertised. The management, (Altan, in typical efficient manner, did get this this fixed when we mentioned it though). We followed a trip to this villa with an overnight at another villa in Fethiye-which had all of the usual extras included to help us to settle and be more comfortable quickly. Overall,It felt like the owners of the villa were cutting corners to maximise their profit rather than showing any interest/generosity towards the guests. It was not the ‘luxury’ experience that we are used to. We would use Kalkan Escapes again but would not rebook this utilitarian villa.

We had a brilliant stay. The villa is spacious inside and out, with a good sized pool. The location is ideal - walkable into town, with restaurants and bars right nearby too. The Kalkan Escapes team were really helpful and responsive throughout. Would happily stay again.

On arrival at the Villa we were warmly welcomed by Altan and Ahmet. The Villa has a lift which was extremely useful for my elderly parents. The Villa was very well equipped and well presented and the air conditioning worked perfectly in high temperatures. Ahmet had arranged for shopping to be delivered for our arrival and if we needed anything else he was more than happy to help. I would have no issues in returning to this villa and will certainly be using Kalkan Escapes for our next visit

We had a very special week staying at Villa Esra in Kalkan, our group consisted of 3 adults and 3 teenagers. The villa was wonderful - very clean, absolutely incredible views, and walking distance from beach bars, shops and restaurants. The check-in process was easy, and any communication with Altan at Kalkan Escapes was extremely efficient. We would thoroughly recommend and we look forward to coming back.

Honestly I almost don’t want to write this review to keep Waters Edge 2 and Kalkan Escapes a secret! The Villa, pool and sea access areas are absolutely stunning, we so enjoyed ourselves as a family group of 8. It was a peaceful location with fabulous scenery, but just close enough to make it easy to get to lovely Kalkan. Equally as special was the service we received from Altan and the whole ecosystem that makes Waters Edge so special. Altan was so helpful and answered all my questions, helping with transfers, arranging our first shop and generally making life so easy for us. Celal the manager and his wife were brilliant too, with a cheerful smile and fresh bread every day. It was super easy to arrange food and taxis with Figo and Murat. Overall a 6 out of 5 , thank you so much!
